Travel Softball

The world of travel softball is all about going from tournament to tournament, state to state, town to town. There are usually tournaments every weekend for about 3-5 months straight.

Your player's equipment gets thrown into the truck, gets thrown into the dugout, gets thrown on the floor of the garage. The equipment takes a beating over the season, and not just from use during games and practices! We had to find a way to keep our player's equipment lasting longer.

About Us

We joined the local community teams with our oldest daughter many years ago and enjoyed the sport where the local teams played against one another, the equipment was second hand in most cases and it was more about the hugs and high fives versus wins and losses. Then our second daughter came of age to start playing and she decided that this was going to be a bit more serious.

Suffice it to say, she has now reached 14 and we are playing all over North America and we play all year long instead of just a couple of sun filled months.

Our first experience with equipment issues was when an official in tournament play advised before a game that our daughter's bat had too much damage upon inspection and would not be useable during the game. Wait, we paid $500 for that, should it not last longer than 6 months?

What is BAT Safer?

BAT Safer is a product created to increase the lifespan of expensive softball and baseball bats. The whole bat, not just a portion of it.

Being that composite bats need time to break in, are expensive and they are easily damaged, finding a way to protect the bats is important.

The first time an umpire advises before a playoff game that your bat has too much damage and thus cannot be used for that game, you will look for ways to keep your bat from unnecessary harm.

Bats are given a 1 year manufacturers warranty based on workmanship, if the bat fails by way of normal use they will replace it, once. Scratches, scrapes, gouges, cracks can all happen from use but many happen from transportation of the bat from place to place.
